Why the Egg Suite & Hen House

This suite is tucked into the lowest level of the hotel, in a space reminiscent of the building's original use for cold storage. Ice was cut from the nearby mill ponds and stored here in the building's early years. Today the exposed limestone walls make this one of the coziest spots in the hotel, with the character of the original stone still very much present.
