Why the Crate Whirlpool Suite

For 30 years of its history, the building was home to S. L. Fosse's Egg and Poultry Processing. The Crate Whirlpool Suite is dedicated to all those who worked long hours candling eggs and preparing chickens in this space. The name honors that chapter of the building's working life, when crates of eggs and poultry moved through what is now one of the most spacious and private suites in the hotel.

The Crate Whirlpool Suite features a double whirlpool bath, a king bed, a private outside entrance, and a private bath. The sitting area includes two futons that convert to twin beds for additional guests, making this one of the more flexible suites in the hotel for small groups. A window allows some natural light into the space, and the suite's lower-level location gives it a private, secluded feel that guests appreciate for longer stays.
