staff for a late winter retreat in
Historic Lanesboro, Minnesota.
We are
holding this
event at the beautifully restored FEED
MILL and Historic Inn, Stone Mill Suites.
You will be amazed at the way in which this charming
19th century building has been wonderfully restored
with many modern conveniences. Facilities include a
gorgeous meeting area with sewing tables and
ironing boards AND crackling fireplaces to keep you
cozy while you are sewing to your heart's content!
Should you get tired, you will want to snooze in one of
the themed suites, which are furnished and decorated
to reflect the history of the mill and the local area.
On Saturday afternoon, a special trip in Historic
Lanesboro's Molly the Trolley will bring you to Pine
Needles in Cresco where you can shop 'til you drop
and pick up any notions or supplies that you may have
forgotten to pack! Pine Needles will also be featuring
an optional Retreat Quilt Kit for those of you that are
looking to take on a new project.
We plan to quilt
until we wilt; however, should you need a quick
break, head up the stairs to Tours and Treasures to
browse all of the wonderful clothing and jewelry,
books, home décor, and gift items, or you may wish to
get a breath of fresh air and stroll the streets to
shop the many other exquisite shops Lanesboro
has to offer. Massage slots will be available at an
additional cost.
