Bicycle Loft Suite

A main attraction to Lanesboro is the Root River State Trail. Excellent for biking, hiking and cross-country skiing, the trail runs along towering lime stone bluffs and through dense hardwood forests. The Bicycle loft Suite shows an appreciation for the spectacular 60 miles that wind through Bluff Country. The Innkeepers first bike and skis, photos from the trail, and bikes aplenty give this room its charm. Relax after a day on the trail in your suite complete with a queen size bed in a loft, iron-claw fireplace, private bath, and a comfortable full size futon for added guests.

Hen House
The Hen House adjoins the Egg Suite. This additional room is only available with the rental of the Egg Suite. The Hen House features a set of extra long bunk beds and a private bath. This room is perfect for families or groups of adults.

Majestic bluffs bring joy to our visiting friends amid a beautiful area that is supported by both tourism and the local farming industry. The Farm Suite honors the life and work of the local farmer. Sit in a hay mow loft, soak in a double whirlpool bath and enjoy the warmth of an iron-claw fireplace. A queen bed, two twin futons and a private bath are the classic amenities of this suite.

Garden Loft Suite

Little Lanesboro in the valley is a garden full of magnificent views, of rhubarb, a river, a dam, and a landscape filled with wildflowers. The Garden Loft Suite represents Lanesboro’s brilliant show of garden glory. The suite offers a king bed in a loft, overlooking a relaxing sitting area with an iron-claw fireplace, private bath, and a comfortable full size futon for added guests.

Grain Room

Corn, soybeans, and oats were stored in wooden bins that sat in the location of the Grain Room. The original auger which functioned as a feed transporter to place grain into the bins is still mounted to the ceiling. This richly colored room features a decorative loft, flour sifter, seed sower, and wheat sheaves carved into the bedpost. The Grain Room includes a queen bed, iron-claw fireplace and private bath.

Policies
- Guests may check into their rooms at 3 pm. Check-out time is 12 noon.
- Stone Mill Suites Brseakfast: Continental breakfast served daily from 7 - 9 am. If the Inn has 3 or less rooms occupied, dining vouchers will be provided for local morning cafes.
- Children are welcome.
- DVD player, games, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, and wine glasses are available at your request.
- For the comfort of all guests, the rooms at Stone Mill Suites Historic Inn are smoke and pet free.
- Reservations required to be guaranteed with a credit card.
- A two-night minimum will be required on stays that involve Friday and / or Saturday nights Memorial Day weekend through October. This is due to a state law requiring seasonal-recreational property tax classifications, (Stone Mill Suites classification), to acquire 60% of their business from stays that are two or more nights.
- Cancellations are requested 3 days prior to the date(s) of stay and will be charged a $10 cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made within the 3 day period of the stay then 1/2 of the first nights room rental and taxes will be charged.
- Rates include 2 guests per room. Additional guests are $10 each.
